Go Twins!!

We made it to a Twins game yesterday! Josh was so excited! He had a new shirt to match his papa's (but I didn't manage to get pictures of them together). Josh wore his Twins hat and brought his glove, in case he needed to catch a ball. He wanted to bring his bat, too, but we decided that might not be appreciated.

We had seats in the fourth row up from the field. We were right behind Delmon Young. $10 per ticket for the "Homerun Porch" on Tuesdays! Josh got really excited whenever Kubel, Mauer, or Morneau came up to bat. He would put his glove on and wave it in the air, saying, "Hit one over here!"

Josh enjoyed eating some pizza (he hates hotdogs) and drinking a whole 20 oz. bottle of water. The only problem with sitting down that close to the field is that it's a long walk back up to the bathrooms. And soon as he went with his papa to the bathroom, TC (the mascot) came around and gave us all high-fives. When Josh got back, TC was still around, but Josh was too scared to get a picture with him. I guess I shouldn't have told him that the reason TC's "cave" is behind the visitor's bullpen is so that he can reach over and grab one of them as a snack when he gets too hungry. Oops!

The Twins won 7-2 against the Royals. Morneau got a homerun, which is always fun to see. Josh took some photos, mostly semi-blurry and of the field. He kept trying to get one of Mauer, but he was just too far away. Here's one he took of Chris!
