Tonight Bappa J. is coming over to play with Josh while Chris and I duck out for a date night. We're going to Punch Pizza for dinner. Afterwards, we're going to drive around the lakes and look at the fancy houses decorated for Christmas. It's been a few weeks since we got out for a date. But now that life is calming down post-OCC, we're trying to have more time for getting out.
I'm looking forward to Christmas Eve. Every year, we all get into our cars and drive around this neighbourhood near my parents'. Street after street, filled with luminarias. (The candle inside a paper bag.) Everyone turns off their lights and drives slowly along, watching for the best-decorated house.
